Together for Heart Health

Meet the Team

The people behind NHDRA — a mix of medical professionals, community leaders, and business minds united by a shared belief.

Dr. Bal Krishna Orgyan

Chairman

Dr. Orgyan is a cardiologist based in Berlin, Germany — and the reason NHDRA exists. He built a career in Europe, but never stopped thinking about the communities in Nepal where cardiac care was barely within reach. He leads the organisation’s international partnerships and shapes its clinical direction.

Dr. Sanjay Sah

Director

Dr. Sanjay Sah runs NHDRA. Day to day, that means overseeing the programs, the clinical standards, the partnerships, and the difficult decisions about where limited resources go. He brings the kind of medical grounding that keeps the organisation honest.

Rina Chaudhary

Secretary

Every organisation has someone who holds everything together behind the scenes. For NHDRA, that’s Rina. She manages communications, maintains records, and makes sure that decisions made in meetings actually get followed through.

Anju Chaudhary

Board Member & Admin Finance Officer

Anju lives and works in Lahan, and her connection to the community NHDRA serves isn’t theoretical — it’s the fabric of her daily life. At NHDRA, she makes sure the organisation’s money is handled right and its administration keeps moving.

Shiv Prasad Chaudhary

Treasurer

Shiv Prasad makes sure that when a donor contributes to NHDRA, those funds reach the people they were meant for. Based in Lahan, he brings professional financial discipline to an organisation that has to make every rupee count.

Bandana Yadhav

Board Member

One of the region’s most energetic young entrepreneurs. At NHDRA, she represents a new generation of community leaders who understand that a healthier community is a stronger one.

Kumud Prasad Sah

Board Member

Holds an MBS and has built his career as a businessman in the region. He believes sustainable community health isn’t just a medical issue — it’s also an organisational and economic one.

Pradeep Gupta

Board Member

His commitment to NHDRA stems from a straightforward conviction: that access to cardiac care shouldn’t be a privilege. He brings his business knowledge to the board and plays an active role in shaping outreach.

Anil Jha

Board Member

Brings local onground business expertise to NHDRA’s board, contributing the kind of grounded, practical perspective that keeps the organisation connected to the communities it serves.
